I used to love this. Have played thousands of rounds. Lately the ad length has made the game unplayable. Especially the Royal Kingdom and Royal match ads. I’m done for a while. Might try again but I refuse to wait for 3 minutes being forced to watch an ad for a game I have no desire to play. Make an ad free version where I can just pay. It’s ridiculous how bad this has ruined the game.

About half of my play time experiences slow response and ultimate crashes. This app is in desperate need of an update to squash the bugs. Otherwise the game is enjoyable but is frustrating for the aforementioned observations.

I recently redownloaded this game because wanted to try it again as it is a fun game even though there are words missing that should be part of library. It disappeared from my library and now I can only find it when I go into App Store and it shows as installed. The game is kind of useless if I have to only play through App Store but now cannot remove it.

Can’t get through one game without a long ad popping up and running out my time

This is a fun game but it insists on trying to get you to download other games in between. And it takes 20 seconds to get back to the game. I chose to waste my time playing. I ent appreciate all of my time that the ads waste. Yes or no should suffice. I’ll be deleting it.

I hate the long ads. Sometimes I don’t get a score due to the long ads. Seems I should get my score first, then an ad before the next game. I like the game a lot but may stop playing if the length of ads doesn’t improve. I’d rather pay for a version than endure the provitalize ad again or the wood puzzle ad. Enough already!

Game is great but the constant barrage of ads for other games makes it not worth it. Remove the ads and i will be back.

Game crashes, freezes and continually has annoying and long ads after each game ends. This by far is worse than older editions. Freezes and crashes. Poor construction

Game is fun when not waiting for long and annoying ads. There are also scam sites that pop up even during games which not only make it more difficult to play but they are clearly scams!

I had this app for a while and really liked it, but it started doing this thing where the ads pop open a window in my browser without me even tapping on them, and then it says something like “scanning your device for viruses” which seems a little sketchy. Uninstalled it.

I love this game and have played it for a long time to relax my mind. However, recently I’ve been having a lot of pop ups that interrupt my games and redirect me to sketchy websites on Safari that say they’re tracking my device. I’ll just be in the middle of playing and without touching an ad or anything, suddenly my safari app pulls up with the sketchy website. One time when I was playing, there was suddenly a loud beeping sound that started blaring from my phone and didn’t go away until I closed the app. I’ve tried reaching out to app support, but they just keep marking my requests as “solved” without even responding to me. It’s like there’s a virus within the app or something. I tried deleting and redownloading the app. Not only did I still have the same issue, but I also lost all my progress.

This is a fun game that gives you a quick burst of challenge, then rewards you with a bronze, silver, gold, or platinum score (I have only gotten platinum once out of hundreds of games!). However the ads are so tedious and can take longer to get through than the game itself. Lately the ads interrupt the game. I know I need to delete it because it wastes so much of my time. I wish there was a version I could purchase to eliminate the ads.

I really like playing this game - but the ads after every round are too annoying. AND it seems like more and more it will suddenly, mid-game, jump to safari to open a tab that is supposedly scanning my device for malware. I don’t trust it. Sad to do it - but deleting this game.

What happened to this game? This used to be one of my favorite games. But recently, there are WAAAY too many ads popping up, esp in the middle of my game. And most of them say they are scanning my tablet for viruses. This happens 2-5 times per game. So disappointing. I used to love this game but if you do not fix it, and SOON, I will have to delete it. Too frustrating for me.

This ad takes over Word Scramble screen many, many times and stops play. It is so bad, I deleted Word Scramble entirely from my phone; I will miss playing it.

Use to love playing this game. As of late there are so many ads that cause the game to freeze. Recently in the middle of playing the game it pauses and my internet browser pops up. This game needs an update.

I’ve enjoyed this game for years - from when there were no ads, then short ads and now when the inescapable ads almost as long as the game. Often ads last 1 min 30 seconds while the game is only 2 min long. While there are a few short ads to keep you hopeful, I’m at the end of line for this game. Very sad.

The ads cut off the last second of the play. Then you can’t see your score. I get so tired of the constant ads, that I just quit playing. Also there used to be a setting that would let you adjust the time so you could see how many words you could find; please bring that back; maybe without scores. It would make it more versatile. UPDATE: I’m probably deleting this app. The ads are as long as the game and now they have started playing audio while you are playing, which defeats the purpose for me. I wanted a quiet word game to play when I only have a few minutes waiting somewhere. I can’t believe you app developers are playing audio on ads while the player games and the fact that the ads play as long as or longer than the game lasts is crazy!

I used to love this game, but the ads are ridiculous. I even emailed the company asking how to remove the ads, but no one responded; therefore, I had to remove the app.

Like others, I loved this app, but the ads lasting longer than the game and buggy issues where it just stopped working now entirely. I would have paid to not have ads for this game! I haven’t found another scramble that slows two letter words and has smooth action, but I am going to finally delete this app I guess. So sad!!

Could have been a 5/5 if it weren’t for the egregious ads and the sensitivity to crashing

This is a fun game, but the there are numerous ads and some of them are impossible to get out of without shutting down the game and sometimes even rebooting my phone. This has become intolerable and I am going to delete the game. It is a shame because the game itself is fun.

Congratulations on ruining what was an enjoyable game. The inconsistent scoring is bad enough; but the incessant ads are becoming unbearable. The Apple Watch and “Mac Does That” ads repeat incessantly, and they take longer to get past than the time to play the game. Since the developers never read or act on the comments, I will be forced to delete the app. I’m fine with a reasonable number of ads; but this has gotten ridiculous. Not only is it irritating, it’s moronic. No one wants to view the same ads thousands of times, even if they are interested in the product. Also, the ads shouldn’t use up more time than playing the game. I advise everyone to delete this app. Perhaps then the developers will correct the problems.

Below is what I wrote a long time ago. New review: Starting yesterday, I play one game, then the screen comes up very dark gray with a message in black about bonus points which freezes. The only way to make it go away is to turn my ipad off, then on. After 1 more game, it does the same & freezes again. Before this started to happen, when the score is calculating, the gold trophy is way to the right under the platinum one, whereas it used to be about midway between silver & platinum. Old review: I've been playing this game on and off for several years. Today, it is suddenly different. First, I can't see the stats on the far right. I had over 180 winning games with the platinum trophy, which then looked like 18. After winning a few more, looks like 19 instead of 190. The last digit is missing. Then decided to play a different version, but it keeps playing the game below the one I am choosing. I think they revised it but all the kinks aren't worked out. I would have given it a 5 but in its current flawed state, it earns a 2.

This used to be my favorite game app. I took it off my phone because of how much time I spent on it but recently downloaded it again (years later) for stress reduction… sadly there’s nothing more stressful than all these adds. Especially all the Bible related stuff? Like, that’s not why any of us are here… and it’s weird. I would legit pay a small one time fee to never see another add again. At least all these ads will ensure that I hardly use the app this time around, I guess? Hard to want to spend time on it with the near constant interruptions.

I love playing this but honestly something is very wrong. I do spell some words wrong, or my finger slips, but I have noticed sometimes I spell something correctly but it registers as being incorrect. Example “star” is the latest, so frustrating!!!

Love the game but HATE having to reinstall it almost every single time I play. NEVER had this much trouble with any other game.

I’ve played this for years. Now I have had issues that force me to delete and reload. The last two times, the game only worked a few times before official looking, ad pop up scam started warning of things not working on your phone, click here, etc. So sad. This one had to go

To many phishing ads . You will be playing the game and all of a sudden it will say “you been hacked” or takes you to a harmful website. Will be deleting

I get that you need ad revenue to keep the game going and working. And they’ve never really bothered me over the years I’ve had this app because they’ve only been between the puzzles. But recently more ads have been popping up and opening in a web browser while I’m currently playing a puzzle and it’s getting really old really fast.

Honestly was such a fun game but the ads coming out before the time ends is ridiculous… honestly cant play anymore, i hate it

30+ seconds of ads after every game have me looking for an alternative. I’d even pay for an ad free version but it’s not possible. Ruins the app.

Why is the gold trophy behind the platinum trophy now?

What a waste to have such a good game and then play at least a 30 second ad after every game without any option to pay for ad-less! I don’t want to play Township but I would give you money for this game

Love the game but STOP THE LONG Royal King ads. Obviously after me seeing it 250 times your algorithm should notice I wont buy it. Your retargeting is bad!!! And it’s been crashing on me forcing me to lose my data.

I love the game. It’s great for making you really use your brain to try and find something. But I’d like it if you could add more lines of letters for more difficult levels. Other than that, great work.

I’ve played and enjoyed this game for years. Unfortunately, the ads are ridiculously intrusive and often interrupt in the middle of single game. Worse, sometimes they “freeze” the app so you can’t return to the game. I’ve had to exit the app til the next day or hours later to access the actual game. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app several times. Let’s hope it”takes” this time (I’m reinstalling once again).

I play this game often. I enjoy word scrambles, it almost reminds me of scrabble. The reason I gave it one star was in hopes to get the manufacturer’s attention. During one of the updates, the Gold and Platinum level score cups overlap t the very end of the score bar. This has cheated me out of one or two golds, (I’m not good enough for platinum). I would really like an update to fix this. The gold is actually further to the right than the platinum award. Please fix this.

If you don’t delete of all these new ads, I’m going to delete your game. I do like this game but the ads for Royal Match are insufferable. As soon as an ad comes on, I delete the game. When I want to play it again, I download it again. One of these days I’m just going to say THWI and just leave it deleted and find another word game. Why don’t you make a version without ads and sell it for a couple of dollars?

I love this game, the setup is great, it’s simple BUT they don’t offer you the option to pay for no ads and the ads are ridiculously long and obnoxious. I love this game so much I would purchase it for no ads if they would give that option. But that game itself is my favorite phone game by far

This used to be a fun game . It’s great for creativity and to see how your brain is working that day. However, the time limit is 2 minutes. Then you must wait for 30 seconds minimum plus their 10 second countdown ads for your results. The same ads over and over. The ads feel as long as the game and extremely aggravating. There is no way to avoid the ads.

Too many very long adds. Every time I play a two minutes game I have to wait for a two minute adds. It turns me off from playing.

No option to pay to play- just have to sit there and wait a very long time for it to be over!

Why isn’t there a no adds version? I would pay a reasonable amount for no adds.

I have played this game since 2013, 2014(?) and it has been a pretty constant pal. The ads they added are so annoying I often just close the game. I will pay! Just let me have a no ads version….please!
